Building Hope for Des Moines

Dear Hope Family,

Thank you very much for your participation in "Building Hope 4 the World!" through Hope Des Moines! God has poured out countless blessings upon us during this giving campaign, and you have responded faithfully – you are an awesome church!

On November 20th, 2011, as a church family at Hope Des Moines, we took some big steps of faith as we brought our offerings to God with thanksgiving and joy-filled hearts towards the vision of a future facility in the city of Des Moines. We talked about God creating us to be ripple-makers, to leave an impact on our world that will be felt long after we are gone. During this campaign, we took a great step in that direction!

If you are still interested in supporting, you can still take part and give to "Building Hope 4 the World." That’s purely an invitation, not a statement laced with underlying pressure, guilt, or even practical need. The Bible teaches us that those who fall in love with money will never find satisfaction, but there’s freedom and a full life for those who realize that God wired us up to give cheerfully and generously (1 Timothy 6:6-19, 2 Corinthians 9:6-15, Malachi 3:10). God does not tell us these things to keep us from abundance; quite the opposite, he offers us this truth to set us free!

All money donated to “Building Hope 4 the World” at Hope Des Moines will go towards a special future facility fund for our home in the city. This fall’s campaign is the first in what will be more opportunities to give in the year ahead. We have made some giant ripples already, but God is still on the move, and more ripples will come in 2012!

What's Next for Hope Des Moines?
In 2012, we will:

• Continue the prayerful search for a facility in the city that will best support our mission
• Form a special future facility team to lead the process of purchasing and renovating a facility
• Engage in a God-inspired Hope Des Moines giving campaign to follow through on our pledges from 2011 and make brand new gifts!
