Our Classroom

Hope+Elim Preschool believes that play is valuable and essential to a child’s development and joy. We offer several ways to stimulate and spark the minds of children, their interests and abilities. Structured and unstructured activities are a part of everyday learning. Our centers include dramatic play, large and small manipulatives, sensory activities, a reading corner, a creation station and so much more! Our lessons encourage exploration allowing children to think independently, and creatively, all while learning more about the everlasting love of Jesus Christ.

Parent Involvement

Parents are welcome and encouraged to participate in the learning their child is receiving. Sign up to volunteer and become an “extra set of hands” or read to your child’s class. If interested in being involved, simply contact your child’s teacher. We have a Family Open House in the fall and a Christmas Program for the entire family, plus a fun graduation celebration for the Pre-K and Transitional Kindergarten students in May. Check out our preschool calendar for all the events throughout the school year!

Parent/Teacher Communication

Weekly and monthly newsletters are sent to each family with information about what your child is learning, ways to have weekly conversations and upcoming events for the school year. Parents are encouraged to use these newsletters to continue their child’s education and interest in learning and curiosity at home. Teachers are ready and willing to be in communication with parents as questions arise as we want to give the best opportunities of learning to every child.
